Draft Companion Guides for CAQH CORE Phase III Posted

Draft Companion Guides for the 835 Health Care Claim Payment/Advice, 820 Group Premium Payment, 277P Health Care Pending Status Notification, and 834O Benefit Enrollment and Maintenance, as well as the NCTracks Connectivity Guide, have been posted to the Trading Partner page of the NCTracks Provider Portal for review by Trading Partners and other interested parties. (See link below) The guides are posted as a framework for the upcoming NCTracks system changes related to CAQH CORE Phase III. These guides are only draft documents and may be updated or replaced by other documents. Although these draft documents are intended as a source of information to assist trading partners with their own system modifications that may be required, it is not recommended to use these guides as reference material and they should be considered as a "work in progress." Trading partners are advised to reference the existing approved Companion Guides for 835 Health Care Claim Payment/Advice, 820 Group Premium Payment, 277P Health Care Pending Status Notification, and 834O Benefit Enrollment and Maintenance, and the NCTracks Connectivity Guide for current production processing, rather than the draft documents.

We invite those trading partners who are testing for CAQH CORE Phase III to comment on the draft Companion Guides for the 835 Health Care Claim Payment/Advice, 820 Group Premium Payment, 277P Health Care Pending Status Notification, and 834O Benefit Enrollment and Maintenance, and NCTracks Connectivity Guide. You may submit comments or questions to NCMMIS_EDI_Support@csc.com until October 10, 2014. We will review all comments received and consider them for incorporation in the final documents. An announcement will be posted when the final documents are available on the portal.
