Accessibility

To ensure maximum accessibility, NCTracks content has been built using code compliant with World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) standards.
 

In accordance with Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act, every effort has been made to ensure NCTracks and its subsequent web application portals are accessible to individuals, including those with disabilities.  Section 508 and other accessibility features include:

  • Alternative text for appropriate images and other non-text elements
  • Title attributes for additional information about links and other elements
  • Structural markup to indicate headings and lists to aid in page comprehension
  • Association of all form inputs with labels
  • Association of all data cells in a data table with their appropriate headers
  • Keyboard Navigation capability
  • Print-page capability
  • Supported language links
  • System-level, Page-level, and Content-level help links
  • Tooltip help indicated by text with a dashed blue underline
  • File support links for Adobe Acrobat or Open Office documents

Zooming In and Out

Use the keyboard shortcut >Ctrl + (hold down the Ctrl key and press the plus sign) to increase the size of the display, or use Ctrl - (hold down the Ctrl key and press the minus sign) to decrease the size of the display. You can also click one of the percent values listed to adjust the display to that percentage of normal, or click Custom... to enter your own value from 10 to 1000. To return the display to the normal size, click 100%.
