Currently Enrolled Provider (CEP) Registration

$(

The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) has moved to an entirely new multi-payer processing system for four of its agencies - the Division of Health Benefits (DHB), the Division of Mental Health, Developmental Disabilities, and Substance Abuse Services (DMH), the Division of Public Health (DPH), and the Office of Rural Health and Community Care (ORHCC).

Legacy DHHS providers are required to complete the Currently Enrolled Provider Registration process to provide our new system, NCTracks, with several critically important data elements.

CSRA mailed each Legacy provider (one letter per National Provider Identifier [NPI]) an NCTracks Registration Letter that contains an Authorization Code, which is required to complete the Currently Enrolled Provider Registration process. If you did not receive a letter or misplaced it, please contact the NCTracks Call Center at 1-800-688-6696 or by e-mail at NCTracksprovider@nctracks.com.

As part of the application, you will identify the Office Administrator, Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) information, and trading partner information (if applicable).
The following steps describe how to complete the Currently Enrolled Provider Registration:

  1. Determine who will be the Office Administrator. For organizational providers, the Office Administrator must be an owner or a managing employee. For individual providers, the Office Administrator can be the individual provider or a managing employee.
  2. The Office Administrator must have a North Carolina IDentity (NCID) Management identifier. If the Office Administrator does not have an NCID, visit the NCID website at https://ncid.nc.gov/login/ and establish an NCID.
  3. Submit the online Currently Enrolled Provider Registration.
