December Medicaid Bulletin and Special Bulletins Available

The December Medicaid Bulletin is now available on the N.C. Division of Medical Assistance (DMA) website. In addition to articles about NCTracks, the December Medicaid Bulletin includes information on medical detoxification billing and proposed clinical coverage policies.

In addition, two special bulletins have been posted, one by Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) regarding Modifier 59 and the other inviting comments regarding mechanisms for consolidating the CAP/DA and CAP/C programs under one waiver.
