Update on Issue With Correcting Claims Pended for Incorrect Location

As explained in the May 27 announcement (see link below), NCTracks now has the capability to correct claims pended for incorrect location.  When the provider location submitted on the claim does not match the location(s) in the NCTracks provider record, the claim pends and a secure message is sent to the provider's NCTracks Message Center Inbox in the provider portal, with a link to a screen that enables the provider to select the correct Provider Location from a drop down list.

This functionality is not working properly for rendering or attending providers.  If it is the rendering or attending provider location that is incorrect, the screen is not populating the NPI or unmatched location, so it is not clear what needs to be corrected.

UPDATE: This issue is expected to be resolved on Monday, June 16. Updates will be made to the existing messages in provider Inboxes, so providers can correct the incorrect location on the pended claims. (New messages generated in the next checkwrite will not have this issue.)

Note that the functionality is working properly if it is the billing provider location that needs to be corrected.

This issue, along with other key issues in NCTracks, is documented in the Issues List, which is posted under the Quick Links on the Provider Portal home page. (See link below)  The Issues List is updated at least once a week with the latest status information.  Providers can consult the Issues List to see if they are experiencing a known issue and may not need to contact the Call Center.
