SPECIAL BULLETINS COVID-19 #144 and #145 Available

The NC Division of Health Benefits (DHB) has recently published two Medicaid Bulletin articles related to COVID-19:

SPECIAL BULLETIN COVID-19 #144: COVID-Nursing Facility Response Site Criteria Revised

This bulletin updates the COVID-Response Site criteria previously established in SPECIAL BULLETIN COVID-19 #82. This update will apply the following amended criteria when reviewing any COVID-Response Site designation request received on or after Dec. 1, 2020. More Information.

SPECIAL BULLETIN COVID-19 #145: Updated Guidance for PACE Organizations

Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) organizations should continue to follow the guidance of local, state and federal officials regarding COVID-19 and thoroughly document reasoning for making decisions which may fall outside of the PACE program model. More Information.
