A Message from NCTracks on Behalf of NC Medicaid Reminder: Portal for COVID-19 Primary Care Reimbursement Training and Job Aids
As previously announced, NC Medicaid will reimburse primary care providers (PCPs) who are providing COVID-19 related primary care services to North Carolina residents without medical insurance. A payment of $150 per eligible encounter will be available to PCPs.
Funding is first-come, first-served until exhausted or until Dec. 30, 2020, whichever comes first. PCPs will be reimbursed in subsequent NCTracks checkwrites issued by the Division of Health Benefits. PCPs should check the COVID-19 Related Services for Uninsured Individuals webpage for finance updates. Remaining funds will be updated on the website weekly.
Training Begins November 9
- PCPs can attend a training to better understand how to submit qualifying claims through NCTracks; training dates are November 9, 10, 12, 17, 18 and 20. Click here for more information and to register for a training session.
- The Job Aid (ORH COVID-19 Claim Submission) is located under the heading Claims Submission on the User Guides & Fact Sheets page. The Job Aid is also accessible in SkillPort (the secure NCTracks Learning Management System). SkillPort can be accessed via the secure portal.
