Attention: DME Providers Updates to Clinical Coverage Policy 5A-2: Non-invasive Ventilator Policy

Clinical Coverage Policy 5A-2, Respiratory Equipment and Supplies, has been updated to add policy guidelines for home ventilators with a non-invasive interface and to add HCPCS code E0466 to the Durable Medical Equipment and Supplies (DME) fee schedule as a continuous rental. For details on the updates to the policy, refer to the full article in the February 2018 Medicaid Bulletin on the DMA website. Effective immediately, DME providers should submit prior authorization requests and claims for HCPCS code E0466 through NCTracks.
