Attention: Reports Administrator Electronic Posting of Preliminary & Final Case Mix Indexes

Effective August 3, 2018, NC Medicaid will implement a new procedure that involves electronically posting the Preliminary and Final Case Mix Index Reports through Myers and Stauffer’s secure web portal. This web portal will serve as a replacement for the mailing of these reports as well as a facility mailing payer source for changes to Myers and Stauffer.

As part of this transition, the following information is being requested ASAP on the downloadable form (on the right of this page):

  • Facility name
  • Facility street address
  • Facility Medicaid number
  • Facility NPI
  • User name (limit two per facility)
  • User email
  • User public IP address

Please note that no Preliminary Case Mix Index Reports after August 3, 2018, can be retrieved by your facility until the requested information has been provided.

  • To avoid interruptions in the retrieval of future Preliminary Case Mix Index Reports, please complete the attached form and return to Myers and Stauffer at nchelpdesk@mslc.com as soon as possible.
  • Please include MDS Report in your subject line and submit only one form per facility.
  • Alternatively, you may submit your information by fax at (317) 571-8481.

Preliminary Case Mix Index Reports will be posted on the fifth day of the second month following the end of the reporting quarter. Final Case Mix Index Reports will be posted on the 20th day of the third month following the end of the reporting quarter.
