Some claims are being denied for Edit 00344 with Explanation of Benefits (EOB) 01610 - FAMILY PLANNING PROCEDURE CODE REQUIRES FAMILY PLANNING DIAGNOSIS. PLEASE CORRECT AND RESUBMIT when billed with diagnosis code Z049 or when the recipient is enrolled as MAFDN - Medicaid Family Planning. The State is aware of the issue and currently researching.
