NCTracks Implementing 256 Bit Encryption

On Friday evening, September 18, CSC will implement mandatory 256 bit level encryption on the NCTracks website. This enhancement aligns with the North Carolina Statewide Information Security Manual, which outlines technology policies and standards intended to protect the privacy of North Carolinians.

There should be no impact on providers who currently use the internet browsers supported by NCTracks. If a provider is using an older unsupported browser, such as IE 6, then it may be necessary to upgrade to a supported browser. A list of the internet browsers supported by NCTracks can be found in the System Requirements link in the footer of every NCTracks webpage.
