New VieBridge Interface for CAP Providers
The NC DHHS Division of Medical Assistance (DMA), in cooperation with VieBridge, Inc., will implement, in March 2017, a direct service provider interface for the e-CAP systems used to support both the Community Alternatives Program for Children and Disabled Adults (CAP/C and CAP/DA) waivers. The e-CAP computer systems help organize and manage the key business processes of the CAP waivers. This new interface will allow direct service providers to electronically receive a service authorization and to view selective information on CAP beneficiaries they currently serve.
It is mandatory for each direct service provider authorized to render waiver services to register as e-CAP direct service provider user. The e-CAP system uses NCID credentials in the application and login processes.
When registering as an e-CAP direct service provider user, you will need a valid NCID and your assigned NPI number. A locator code is not needed or required. If you are not currently a registered user in NCID, please register at https://ncidp.nc.gov/ncidsspr/.
