Issue Resolved - Medicare Only Modifiers Causing Crossover Claims to Deny

An issue had previously been identified in which Medicare-only modifiers were not recognized by NCTracks, causing crossover claims to deny. (This issue only involved crossover claims.) The issue has now been resolved. Affected providers will need to resubmit the denied claims to NCTracks.

Note that this change affects modifiers used by Medicare only, which will now be allowed in NCTracks on crossover claims. It does not affect modifiers used for Medicaid Fee for service processing, for which existing business rules still apply.

(See link below)  The Issues List is updated at least once a week with the latest status information.  Providers can consult the Issues List to see if they are experiencing a known issue and may not need to contact the Call Center.
