Reminder re: Submission of Refunds
If a provider needs to refund money to NCTracks, they are encouraged not to send a check. It is highly recommended that overpayments be handled by submitting a replacement claim to NCTracks and the system will recoup the funds as needed. This will enable the claim information in the system to be updated accurately and it will provide the timeliest application of refunds. Sending a check instead of a replacement claim may actually delay processing of the refund. However, if a refund check is sent, it should be mailed to one of the addresses listed in the Contact Information document under Quick Links on the Provider Portal home page. (See link below)
