Some Mental and Behavioral Health Providers Will Need to Enroll in NCTracks

While most mental and behavioral health providers are enrolled through their local LME/MCO, beginning November 3, 2014, some will have to be enrolled through NCTracks.

Providers who serve Health Choice recipients or Medicaid recipients who are younger than age 3 or documented aliens will be reimbursed in a fee-for-service model, not the capitated rates of the LME/MCOs.

Providers already enrolled in an LME/MCO don’t need to do anything. They will be automatically enrolled in NCTracks. Other mental and behavioral health providers will have to go through the NCTracks provider enrollment process: https://nctracks.nc.gov/content/public/providers/provider-enrollment.html.
