A Message From NCTracks on Behalf of NC Medicaid Free Webinar on Dental Services and Teledentistry

During this COVID-19 pandemic, many North Carolina dental providers have transitioned their practice to seeing emergency patients and may be using telehealth services as a prescreen and triage for the need of in-office care. On Wednesday, April 22nd, the Area Health Education Center (AHEC) will offer a free webinar on practice guidelines and teledentistry especially designed to support dental providers, from patient communication to billing Medicaid.

The webinar, DHHS COVID-19 Guidance for Dental Professionals: ADA and CDC Recommendations and NC Medicaid Teledentistry Services, will stream from 5:30-6:30 p.m., featuring Dr. Sarah Tomlinson, State Dental Director, Darlene Baker, RDH, Lead Dental Policy Analyst, and Dr. Mark Casey, Medicaid Dental Director with the NC Division of Health Benefits.
