DRG Grouper 33 Coming October 1 2015
On October 1, NCTracks will implement the Diagnosis-Related Group (DRG) Grouper 33, along with the associated rates for inpatient institutional claims with dates of discharge between October 1, 2015, and September 30, 2016. The new DRG Grouper is being implemented in conjunction with ICD-10 and includes ICD-10 codes.
A copy of the DRG Grouper Version 33 weights and thresholds in Excel format are posted to the N.C. Division of Medical Assistance (DMA) website at http://www2.ncdhhs.gov/dma/fee/hospitals/drgweightable.xls.
